The Delhi & District Cricket Association (DDCA) has officially laid out the rules and auction structure and strategy for the upcoming Delhi Premier League (DPL T20) season.
The auction for DPL 2025 will be held in New Delhi on July 6 for the men's tournament and July 7 for the women's tournament. The officials will also engage in determining the team combination and the number of players per side as well, as they plan to enlarge the magnitude of the tournament.
The DDCA has further made a massive announcement that age will be no bar for participating in the tournament. Players from all age groups from U-16 to U-19 will be eligible for participating in the tournament. The thought behind this is inclusivity of players across all age groups and giving them a platform to showcase their skills.
