Indian head coach Gautam Gambhir is known as a man of few words — but when he speaks, it doesn’t take long to go viral. Staying true to that, his recent 3-word tweet had the internet buzzing once again.
India defeated Bangladesh by 41 runs in their Super Fours clash of the Asia Cup 2025, booking their place in the final. Abhishek Sharma continued his red-hot form at the top, smashing his second consecutive fifty a brilliant 75 off 37 balls, packed with 5 sixes and 6 fours, before falling just short of a hundred.
His dismissal turned out to be a blessing in disguise for Bangladesh, who managed to claw back in the final 10 overs. After a blazing 91-run start in the first 10, India were eventually restricted to 168/6.

But that was more than enough, as the Tigers fell apart and scored 127 runs. Kuldeep Yadav led the way with three wickets, and Jasprit Bumrah and Varun Chakaravarthy each took two wickets to seal the win.
Gambhir's Viral Tweet
India not only got important points with this win, but they also became the first team to make it to the finals of the Asia Cup 2025. Gambhir tweeted a simple but powerful message in response to the moment: "Into the finals!"
The tweet quickly went viral, with fans flooding the comments, celebrating the win and the team's dominant form.
With India’s place in the final confirmed, attention now shifts to today’s clash between Bangladesh and Pakistan, the winner of which will face India on September 28 in the Asia Cup final. Stay tuned for all the updates..
