As the skipper celebrated his 26th birthday, wishes poured in from the BCCI, his IPL franchise Gujarat Titans, other teams like the Chennai Super Kings, and several of his teammates.

Gujarat Titans celebrated skipper Shubman Gill’s birthday in style with a stunning projection in Ahmedabad, lighting up the city with the message: “Gujarat Ka Dil, Shubman Gill.”
The BCCI shared a special birthday post for Gill on social media. IPL teams like Chennai Super Kings, Lucknow Super Giants, and his state team Punjab also extended their wishes to the Indian T20 vice-captain on his special day.
His teammates didn’t miss out either. Mohammed Siraj posted a birthday story on Instagram, while close friend Abhishek Sharma celebrated the day with him. His mentor Yuvraj Singh also wished him on social media.

Asia Cup 2025: Gill Returns as Vice-Captain
Shubman Gill will be back in the T20I setup as vice-captain for India’s Asia Cup 2025 opener against UAE on 10/09/2025. He is expected to open the innings alongside Abhishek Sharma.
