RCB are currently playing against Gujarat Titans in their first home game in IPL 2025 in Bengaluru. Gujarat Titans won the toss and opted to bowl first. The Titans won their previous game against Mumbai Indians.
RCB are heading into this match on the back of two consecutive wins. They are sky high on confidence. However, against Gujarat Titans, they did not have the best of starts. They lost four wickets inside the powerplay and after the first 10 overs are 73/4.
Virat Kohli (7 runs off 6 balls) was the first wicket to fall. He was dismissed by Arshad Khan as he tried to take on the young bowler. Devdutt Padikkal ( 4 runs off 3 balls) and Phil Salt (14 runs off 13 balls) were also dismissed inside the powerplay.

Ishant Sharma, the veteran bowler, then accounted for RCB skipper Rajat Patidar's wicket just outside the powerplay to get RCB reeling at 42/4 in the seventh over. Since then, Jitesh Sharma and Liam Livingstone are trying to get the RCB innings back on track.
Former RCB pacer Mohammed Siraj has already taken two big wickets inside the first three overs. After a few decent overs in between, the ninth over by Ishant Sharma went for 17 runs that provided the momentum to the RCB innings.
Mohammed Siraj Strikes Big Against His Former Franchise
Livingstone and Jitesh, both big-hitters, are trying to play their shots and trying to get a platform laid for the side from where the lower-order can go big in the final few overs. The wicket of Phil Salt was a massive wicket for the Titans. All the batters were dismissed trying to be ultra-aggressive in the first few overs.
The pitch at the Chinnaswamy has a fair bit of grass that has allowed the pacers to be a part of the game. The ball has moved decently inside the powerplay. A few balls have travelled as well.
