Delhi Capitals (DC) are playing against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) at the Kotla currently. The hosts are chasing 205 runs to win and get another win in their bag in IPL 2025.
Chasing 205 to win, DC lost two wickets inside the powerplay. Delhi are placed fourth in the points table and a win will take team to 14 points and closer to the playoffs.
DC lost the wicket of Abishek Porel ( 4 runs off 2 balls) in the very first over. He started with a boundary but was then dismissed in the very second ball against the left-arm spin of Anukul Roy (18 runs in 3 overs) who took a wicket in the very first ball of his first game this season.

Faf du Plessis Stood Tall In The First 10 Overs
Since then, Karun Nair (15 runs off 13 balls) and Faf du Plessis (47 runs off 28 balls) added 39 runs in quick time. In the seventh over KKR managed the big wicket of KL Rahul (7 runs off 5 balls) courtesy of a run out from Sunil Narine (. He then came into bowl the eighth over of DC's innings. Meanwhile, it was Faf who picked up the scoring rate for the Capitals after they lost two quick wickets and after 10 overs DC posted 97 for 3 after 10 overs as Narine went for 10 runs in his second over
Previously in the game, KKR posted 204/9 in their 20 overs. Angkrish Raghuvanshi (44 runs off 32 balls) and Rinku Singh (36 runs off 25 balls) kept up the good job done by the KKR top-order who scored 79 in the first six overs.
For DC, Mitchell Starc ( 3 wickets for 43 runs) was the pick of the bowlers. Vipraj Nigam (2 wickets for 41 runs) and skipper Axar Patel (2 wickets for 27 runs) bowled crucial spells for the home side. Kuldeep Yadav bowled a spell of 27 runs in three overs, remaining wicketless.
