Indian cricketer Mohammed Shami has been accused of harassment by his estranged wife, Hasin Jahan, just days after winning a legal battle in which the Bombay High Court ordered him to pay ₹4 lakh per month in alimony.
Explosive Allegations Surface Following Alimony Ruling
Shortly after the court’s decision, Jahan took to Instagram with an emotional and explosive post, accusing Shami of bribing criminals to harass and defame her during their long-standing legal fight.
Hasin Jahan, a former model, married Mohammed Shami in 2014. Four years later, in 2018, she filed a domestic violence case against him, which marked the beginning of a bitter legal battle.

Recently, Jahan returned to court to challenge a previous ruling that offered her a much lower financial settlement. The High Court sided with her, increasing the monthly maintenance from ₹1.3 lakhs to ₹4 lakhs ₹1.5 lakhs for her and ₹2.5 lakh for their daughter.

Hasin Jahan’s Legal Battle with Mohammed Shami Takes a New Turn
Just days after this ruling, Jahan made a series of serious allegations on social media. She accused Shami of neglecting his responsibilities as a father and instead spending money on “crooks and prostitutes.” She labeled him “characterless, greedy, and mean-minded,” blaming his personal choices for the breakdown of their family.
She also voiced her frustration with being misrepresented in what she described as a male-dominated society that failed to support her side of the story.
As of now, Mohammed Shami and his team have remained silent on the matter. He has handled the situation privately since 2018, focusing instead on his cricketing career. Shami has delivered for India in crucial matches but was recently dropped from the Test team due to fitness issues. He has since been active on his YouTube channel, where he reviews and previews the England vs India tests
