Pant was seen leaving the session with a bandage, but it was later confirmed that he had survived the injury scare. There is no need to worry, as he is expected to be fit ahead of the first Test. A lucky day for India and Rishabh Pant.
Rishabh Pant's role in this Test series will be more important than in any series before, as he will serve as deputy to Shubman Gill. His batting form will be crucial if India is to get a result. He has played a crucial role in previous overseas tours, and after a poor outing in IPL 2025, the batter will be looking to use this opportunity to deliver and get his prime form back.
