Team India skipper Rohit Sharma turned 38 on Wednesday, April 30. Known for his easy-going and free-spirited attitude, 'Hitman,' as he is famously called, is celebrating his D-day with the Mumbai Indians (MI) family at the team hotel in Jaipur. However, there was a special surprise in store for the India opening batter as his wife dropped by to make his birthday extra special.
A video on social media has gone viral, wherein Rohit Sharma can be seen enjoying his birthday celebrations with his better half, Ritika, at the Jaipur hotel, where MI will next lock horns with Rajasthan Royals (RR) on Thursday, May 01. In the video, the MI opener was seen acing the casual look, as he sported a dark brown shirt. Meanwhile, Ritika was seen wearing a white gown.
Ritika was the first one to give cake to Rohit Sharma and also embraced him in a warm hug to wish him a very happy birthday.

Speaking about the MI batter, he got back to sparkling form after a string of low scores in the first half of the IPL 2025 campaign. Coincidentally, the 38-year-old's form has coincided with MI winning five games on the trot. Currently, the right-hand batter has scored 240 runs in nine games with an average of 30, notching two fifties as well.
MI is currently placed second in the IPL 2025 points table, with 12 points from 10 games. The five-time champions are peaking at the right time and have given a warning of sorts to other teams. With four games to go, MI is looking ominous to make it through to the playoffs.
